Kjersti Misje moved to Bergen in 1996, and has since appeared at a vast range of venues in Norway, UK, and USA. Since she started working together with Rune in 1999, she has also become one of Norway's finest songwriters and a skillful guitarplayer.

The press writes:

"It was as if Loudon Wainwright III and one of the McGarrigle sisters had met up at Buddy that night. This was American singer/ songwriter and folk/roots tradition of a standard which is rarely produced by artists with a Norwegian passport".

"Their vocal interplay and guitar playing was so effortless, classy and energetic that the posters’ promise of "superb listening " was fulfilled many times over. However, the sparkle they brought to their jamming, and their ability to play off the cuff, bear witness of a standard which is far from ordinary fare in this country".

"Millpond Moon is known to be a great live-act. Acoustic and transparent, yet close and gratifying, and with two voices and two guitars in perfect harmony".

Millpond Moon have been five times on tour in the UK during 2003-2005, where they played at venues like: The 12 Bar Club and The Troubadour in London, The Musician in Leicester, The Greys Pub (Brighton) , Loughborough Acoustic Club (Loughborough),Blue Cat Café Bar (Stockport) and also in folk- and acoustic clubs like Twickenham Folk Club (Twickenham), Big Note Club (London) The Cannon Live (Newport Pagnell) and have also been invited to play at festivals like Glastonbury Festival 2004 and Event in a Tent (Lichfield).

In december 2006 they played for the first time in New York City at venues like The Bitter End, The Baggot Inn and 169 Bar.
