LYRICS

BROKE IN BROOKLYN

1. Barbed Wire

(Music and lyrics by Artie Traum)

Oh this desert makes me homesick

Riding shotgun all the way

The open land just seems to stretch forever

Reaching to eternity

But I don’t like your wired fences

I don’t like you’re old watch-dogs

I don’t like the way you keep me out

With your dusty desert laws

Barbed wire,  just a sin

Locks me out but also locks you in

Barbed wire,  it hurts my pride

It hurts inside, so deep inside, oh, so deep inside

And the girl I loved in Denver

She loved me I  in the heat of day

Loved me with her heart and all of her body

But she kept her soul away

Barbed wire,  just a sin

Locks me out but also locks you in

Barbed wire,  it hurts my pride

It hurts inside, so deep inside, oh, so deep inside

Some people keep you out with fences

Some people keep you out with words

Some people keep you out at any cost

Never knowing how it hurts

Barbed wire,  just a sin

Locks me out but also locks you in

Barbed wire,  it hurts my pride

It hurts inside, so deep inside, oh, so deep inside

so deep inside, oh, so deep inside

so deep inside, oh, so deep inside

2. You were there for me
(Music and lyrics by Peter Rowan)

When all my dreams were broken,

I was down on bended knees,

Through my pain I called your name,

You were there for me,

You were there for me.

I climbed the highest mountain,

I looked down in the deep blue sea,

The sky, it cries for love sweet love,

You were there for me,

You were there for me.

I will always love you,

No matter where you may be,

I'll be there for you, baby,

You were there for me,

You were there for me.

And I will always remember,

How you set me free,

With kindness and affection,

You were there for me,

You were there for me.

3. A second act in me

(Music and lyrics by Rune Hauge)

I’m young, on the run, sleepless in the night

Gotta get away, don't need another fight

North or south, don't matter anymore

Got a broken heart from those that I adore

I'm going away now, far away across the sea

Going away now, won't go down on my knees

I'm going away now, gonna find a second act in me

I’m a woman with child, just crossed the borderline

The one I love, in prison with no trial

Wanna give a good start for the little one

I'm one in a million who's always on the run

I'm going away now, far away across the sea

Going away now, won't go down on my knees

I'm going away now, gonna find a second act in me

I'm old here I stand, flowers in my hand

My love is gone, her name written in the sand

Memories so strong, I see pictures and I hear sounds

Like a never ending song that goes round and round and round

I'm going away now , far away across the sea

Going away now, won't go down on my knees

I'm going away now, gonna find a second act in me

4. Lost in the rain

(Music and lyrics by Kjersti Misje)

Lost in the rain like so many times before

Everything I do and everything I say

Leads me back to you

If you could go back to the time

Where one coincidence made you change your mind

If you could go back with a smile on your face

Remember where it all went wrong

Maybe I chose the wrong direction

Maybe I chose the right way to go

Nobody knows what’s in store

Nobody will ever know

Nobody will ever know

It’s raining and raining It’s raining

And I can't find the way back home

I’ve been searching for you, I’ve been searching

Won’t someone please tell me where to go

And what to do

Maybe I chose the wrong direction

Maybe I chose the right way to go

Nobody knows what’s in store

Nobody will ever know

Nobody will ever know

5. Life is a riddle

(Music and lyrics by Rune Hauge)

There were times I felt lost

Times I didn't talk too much

Grief and sorrow, didn't care about tomorrow

There were times I couldn't stand up straight

Times I was always too late

Anger and pain everything seemed in vain

Life is a riddle

Rough like a storm and soft like a fiddle

But we do what we do

Like the tide under the moon

The fiddler plays his tune

There were times I didn't feel love

Times I prayed to The Lord above

When we parted I was down, downhearted

There were times I felt too much

Times I was out of touch

Anger and pain everything seemed in vain

Life is a riddle

Rough like a storm and soft like a fiddle

But we do what we do

Like the tide under the moon

The fiddler plays his tune

6. Broke in Brooklyn

(Music and lyrics by Rune Hauge)

ATM 1, ATM 2

One more to go that’s all we can do

The Manhattan view is great from here

Though we don’t have money for the subway fare

I wanna go down to “Three Jolly Pigeons”

Shoot some pool and talk about the legends

ATM 1, ATM 2

I’m so down don’t know what to do

ATM 3, ATM 4

Give me some more

See Staten Island over there

Drinking my coffee on the pier

Morning time feels so right

Watch the seagulls take flight

Walking down 3’rd Avenue

Kind of chilly in the morning dew

Wound up in the “Three Jolly Pigeons”

Had a few drinks and talked about the legends

ATM 1, ATM 2

One more to go that’s all we can do

Brooklyn Bridge what a sight

Dancing in the Manhattan lights

Been a dream since I don’t know when

But here I’m broke in Brooklyn again

ATM 1, ATM 2

I’m so down don’t know what to do

ATM 3, ATM 4

Talk about the legends

7. High mountain

(Music and lyrics by Rune Hauge)

We can't hide our problems

Some day we'll have to face them

Like leaves under the snow they lay

There’ll be another season when the leaves

Will see the light of day

So here we go now there's still time

What's done can't be undone

Time passes and the moment is gone

High mountain, high mountain

This mountain might get tough to climb

We will make it one step at a time

Now we agreed to start again

Turn over a new leaf

Nobody lost, nobody won

Time passes and the moment is gone

High mountain, high mountain

This mountain might get tough to climb

We will make it one step at a time

Kjersti Misje : vocals and guitar

8. Let it grow

(Music and lyrics by Rune Hauge)

I don't understand this feeling

And I don't even know your name

Something is happening inside me

It all just started when you came

A bird came in through my window

Stayed with me for a while

By the time it got my full attention

Left me with a broken smile

Something inside of me won't set me free

About to loose control

Can't stop it now, feel it grow

Let it grow, let it grow

Bird came in through my window

Stayed with me for a while

By the time it got my full attention

Left me with a broken smile

Something inside of me won't set me free

About to loose control

Can't stop it now, feel it grow

Let it grow, let it grow

9. Haywire

(Music and lyrics by Rune Hauge)

Don't know what you mean

You wanna bring it to a close

Don't know what you mean

You say our friendship froze

Don't know what you mean

With all this push and shove

Bringing me down on my knees

Is this love, oh love

I go haywire, haywire

Hold one’s own

Haywire, hang up the phone

Haywire, haywire trying to get by

Haywire, once bit twice shy

Don't know what's going on in your mind

But I know it's a bad sign

Too much talk about the ties that binds

Bringing me down on my knees

Is this love, oh love

I go haywire, haywire

Hold one's own

Haywire, hang up the phone

Haywire, haywire trying to get by

Haywire, once bit twice shy

I'm going away now hear the engine roar

You won't play fast and loose with me no more

No more fuzz and fight soon I'll be out of sight

Bringing me down on my knees

Is this love, oh sweet love

I go haywire, haywire

Hold one's own

Haywire, hang up the phone

Haywire, haywire trying to get by

Haywire, once bit twice shy

10. The Barflies

(Music and lyrics by Rune Hauge)

Evening has arrived the street lights are on

The barflies are in town
Same places,  same faces
"Happy hour" is right on time

The musician arrives, all eyes are on him
Singing songs about the places that he's been

One about the time he almost took the fall
and one about the one he misses most of all

Sad faces,  empty eyes
Standing in the dark, stay out of sight
Sad faces with all their traces
Welcome to the house of broken dreams

Gotta leave here tonight
Before the morning light
I’ve been here much too long
Listening to the same old song

12. Blowin’ in the wind

(Music and lyrics by Bob Dylan)

How many roads must a man walk down

Before you call him a man

How many seas must a white dove sail

Before she sleeps in the sand

How many times must the cannonballs fly

Before they're forever banned

The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind

The answer is blowin' in the wind

How many times must a man look up

Before he can see the sky

How many ears must one man have

Before he can hear people cry

How many deaths will it take till he knows

That too many people have died

The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind

The answer is blowin' in the wind

How many years can a mountain exist

Before it's washed to the sea

How many years can some people exist

Before they're allowed to be free

How many times can a man turn his head

Pretending he just doesn't see

The answer my friend is blowin' in the wind

The answer is blowin' in the wind

Kjersti Misje : vocal and guitar

TIME TO TURN THE TIDE

1. Forever Young

(Music and Lyrics by Bob Dylan)

May God bless and keep you always, may your wishes all come true

May you always do for others and let others do for you

May you build a ladder to the stars and climb on every rung

May you stay forever young

Forever young, forever young

May you stay forever young

May you grow up to be righteous, may you grow up to be true

May you always know the truth and see the lights surrounding you

May you always be courageous, stand upright and be strong

May you stay forever young

Forever young, forever young

May you stay forever young

May your hands always be busy, may your feet always be swift

May you have a strong foundation when the winds of changes shift

May your heart always be joyful, may your song always be sung

May you stay forever young

2. Time to Turn the Tide

(Music and lyrics by Rune Hauge)

A change is a coming birds way up high

Going south a long way to fly

See them waving goodbye

They will fly away like they’ve always done

A long, long way now they’re gone

‘Cause they know it’s time to turn the tide

They know it’s time to turn the tide

A change is a coming in the travellers’ eyes

They're gone before the early sunrise

They just go away no goodbyes

They’ll go away like they’ve always done

Just here, then they’re gone

‘Cause they know it’s time to turn the tide

They know it’s time to turn the tide

Train is a coming, coming ‘round the bend

We’ll be on board when the clock strikes ten

Oh, we know we gotta take that ride

Oh, we know it’s time to turn the tide

We will go away, hear that sound

Of that midnight train southbound

We know it’s time to catch that ride

We know it’s time to turn the tide

They will fly away like they’ve always done

A long, long way now they’re gone

‘Cause they know it’s time to turn the tide

They know it’s time to turn the tide

3. Wind of plenty

(Music and lyrics by Rune Hauge)

How could I know , out of the blue
How could I know, it would happen to you When I was lost, you brought me to safety You seemed so strong, like a “Wind of plenty”

Time goes by, oh, the memories
And wherever you are, I hope you find peace
If I ever done you wrong, please forgive me
You were always so strong, like a “Wind of plenty”

How could I know, out of the blue
How could I know it would happen to you
No matter where I go, over the hills or far at sea I can feel you near, like a “Wind of plenty”

How could I know, how could I know How could I know, how could I know

4. Lena Baker

(Music and lyrics by Rune Hauge)

It was a bad day in Georgia
the day they took Lena Baker's life

Mother of three kids, nobody's wife

In self defence shot Ernest Knight

It was back in '45

a good year for human kind
The war had ended

people dancing, drinking wine

But not for Lena Baker as they sat her in the chair

Soon to meet her Maker

shivering with fear

Day by day, trying to survive

Right or wrong, gotta stay alive

Just a woman

who didn't do anyone any harm

Made a big mistake,

went to Ernest Knight's farm

To earn a few dollars to make ends meet
Got beaten up from her head

down to her feet

This was a woman enslaved by a man
Took more beating than

anyone could understand

Went to trial judged by white men

in suits and ties

Whether she would live, live or die

Day by day, trying to survive

Right or wrong, gotta stay alive

It was a bad day in Georgia
the day they took Lena Baker's life
The judge and jury said: "what you say is not true You've done wrong, and therefore you must die"

It was back in '45

a good year for human kind
The war had ended

people dancing, drinking wine

But not for Lena Baker

as they sat her in the chair

Soon to meet her Maker,

shivering with fear

Day by day, trying to survive

Right or wrong, gotta stay alive

She's gone now, been gone for so long Took'em 60 years to tell right from wrong Pardoned for a crime she did not do

Hope she knows...

It’s the same old story I suppose

5. All la Glory

(Music and lyrics by Robbie Robertson)

I wanna hear pitter patter
Climb up your ladder now
It's time for you to dream away
For what a big day you've been through
You've done all the things

that you wanted to do

All la glory, I'm second story

Feel so tall like a prison wall

I'm looking for a star bright

To shine down your light now

And keep the little one safe and warm 'Cause to her it's just a fantasy
And to me it's all a mystery

All la glory, I'm second story

Feel so tall like a prison wall

And before the leaves all turn brown Before they fall to the ground
You will find the harmony
Wait and see

Listen to the serenade
Little girl, promenade now
You've got the sunshine in your hand

And maybe come some sweet day

You'll walk that Milky Way

All la glory, I'm second story

Feel so tall like a prison wall

And before the leaves all turn brown Before they fall to the ground
You will find the harmony
Wait and see

6. Modi
(Music and lyrics by Rune Hauge)

Song written about italian painter Modigliani.

Paintbrush, a palette of colours
Stories of a life on the wall
from a man who gave it all

on the canvas
in a corner of the bar,

a moment for all time
A memory for a dime.

Modi, it's your time now

You can rest in peace,

painted your masterpiece

Late night café, people of all kinds
He’ll paint your picture for a bottle of wine The last true Bohemian had to be free Dancing in the streets of old Paris

Crazy, oh, so crazy
Dancing in the night, ‘till the morning light
Modi, it's your time now
You can rest in peace,

painted your masterpiece

Late night café, drinking with his friends

Ain’t got nothing except his golden hands The last true Bohemian had to be free Dancing in the streets of old Paris

Paintbrush, a palette of colours
stories of a life on the wall,

from a man who gave it all

A moment for all time,

a memory for a dime
Modi, it's your time now

Rest in peace, painted your masterpiece

7. Kitty Cat
(Music and lyrics by Rune Hauge)

Kitty kitty cat, you take all of my time
I gotta go, or I won't make a dime
Kitty kitty cat, you take what you can get

How come I'm getting thinner

while you're getting fat

Kitty kitty cat, always on my tail
If I don't pay my bills I might end up in jail
Kitty kitty cat, through the night,

through the day

Won't leave me alone no matter what I say

You don't do nothing, you just lay inside the house Why don't you go outside and catch a mouse? Instead you just lie there, waiting to be fed
If I don't start working soon we'll both end up dead Kitty cat, I’m writing you this song

Stick around, I won't be long

Kitty kitty cat, you're my best friend
Is it real or do you just pretend?
Kitty kitty cat, in your eyes I see love
Will you stick around

when push comes to shove?

One of us gotta work to buy us some food Can't just hang around though I would if I could Too much of a chance,

I'm not like you
Don't have nine lives like you do

Kitty cat, I'm writing you this song
Stick around, I won't be long

Kitty kitty cat, this is oh so wrong
you better take to the woods

where you belong

gotta let you go, gotta be strong
take to the woods where you belong
That’s where you belong
Kitty kitty cat

8. No Man’s land
(Music and lyrics by Rune Hauge)

Lost my memory on the road,

lost the key to my soul
Lost things I shouldn’t have lost, nearly lost my trust

Started out empty pocket,

down that dusty old road

Thought I’d visit an old friend,

another one in no man’s land

No man’s land has no borders,

has no rules
Only dimes and quarters,

run down bars and motel rooms

Took the train to my hometown,

to see the old folks back home

Many years had passed,

didn’t take long before I had to roam

Travelling is my life,

on the move I feel alright
Crossing water and land,

from the sunny south

to the northern lights

No man’s land has no borders,

has no rules
Only dimes and quarters,

run down bars and motel rooms

I saw her in the morning light.
Long dark hair, eyes shining bright
Like a miner struck gold,

found the key to my soul

We met at a crossroad,

bagged up with a heavy load
Said I’d take her to the promised land,

far away from no man’s land

No man’s land has no borders,

has no rules
Only dimes and quarters, run down bars and motel rooms

9. Wayfaring stranger

(Traditional)

I am a poor wayfaring stranger
While traveling through this world of woe

Hear there's no sickness, toil or danger In that bright land to which I go

I'm going there to see my father

I'm going there no more to roam

I'm only going over Jordan
I'm only going over home

I know dark clouds will gather 'round me

I know my way is rough and steep
Yet beauteous fields lie just before me Where God's redeemed their vigils keep

I'm going there to see my mama
She said she'll meet me when I come

I'm only going over Jordan
I'm only going over home

10. My father used to say

(Music and lyrics by Rune Hauge)

Some say I’m a fool, music will be my fall
They say I act too cool,

they don’t know me at all
They say I must change, time after time
They say that I’m strange

living on nickels and dimes

But I’ve been here before

and I know the score
My father used to say,

do it your own way

no matter what they say

A big man he was, had no fears
But I've seen him more than once,

melt into tears
I guess life was too hard,

you know life takes it's toll
Now I've had ups and downs

it's clearer to me now

‘Cause I’ve been here before

and I know the score
My father used to say,

do it your own way

no matter what they say

He travelled most of the time

from town to town

Worked hard for every dime

countryside up and down

He'd make you believe

while the sun set he said:

“Tomorrow you'll achieve,

on you I place all my bets”

Cause I’ve been here before

and I know the score

He passed away in the night,

no more miles on the road

This time he travelled light,

free from the heavy load
I remember the words you said back then
They’re in my heart ‘till we meet again

SWEETER THAN WINE

1. Just before Dawn

(Music and lyrics by Rune Hauge)

I know what you’re thinking is true

Know why you’re so down and blue

But I can’t carry you no more

Don’t have the strength to pick you up off the floor

When it’s dark enough - you can see the stars

Go to the gypsy and read the cards

Before you walk away and be gone

The darkest hour is just before dawn

Tears on your skin - some lose some win

That’s the way it goes - and the river flows

I know I shouldn’t have left you that day

Guess it would have happened anyway

Sorry we didn’t have more time

Broken wings mend in time

Tears on your skin - some lose some win

That’s the way it goes - and the river flows

When it’s dark enough - you can see the stars

Go to the gypsy and read the cards

Before you walk away and be gone

The darkest hour is just before dawn

2. Memory Lane

(Music and lyrics by Rune Hauge)

The morning sun will rise on the other side of town

Kids still have fun on the old playground

I’m walking alone, feel the smell, remember the sounds

Old familiar places have a story of their own

Some give me pleasure, some give me pain

Dreams fulfilled, some were just in vain

I’m on an old track tonight down memory lane

I meet someone I know, I stop and say hello

Changes all around, that’s the way it always goes

Some give me pleasure, some give me pain

Dreams fulfilled, some were just in vain

I’m on an old track tonight down memory lane

The sun is going down, I remember you and me

We were crazy way back then, sailing too close to the wind

It gave me pleasure, gave me pain

Dreams fulfilled, some were just insane

I’m on an old track tonight down memory lane

3. I´ll do anything to see you smile

(Music and lyrics by Rune Hauge)

A cloudy day in my old town

The rain keeps pouring down

If I could talk to you only for a while

I´ll do anything to see you smile

Your silence is driving me insane

Feels like my love for you is just in vain

If I could talk to you only for a while

I´ll do anything to see you smile

I wanna take you to the sea

One day just you and me

Walking in the sand - feel the wind blow

hand in hand - chasing rainbows

I´ll bring you flowers everyday

All the way ´till my dying day

If I could talk to you only for a while

I´ll do anything to see you smile

There´s nothing I wouldn´t do

to prove myself to you

If I could talk to you only for a while

I´ll do anything to see you smile

I wanna take you to the sea

One day just you and me

Walking in the sand - feel the wind blow

hand in hand - chasing rainbows

The night is falling. I wish you knew

No one can love you like I do

If I could talk to you only for a while

I´ll do anything to see you smile

4. Fallen on strange times

(Music and lyrics by Rune Hauge)

Fallen on strange times, me and you

Wherever you go, I´m going too

Sun rises and sets with you

Taking our time till morning dew

We dance the night away, till the break of day

Let the chips fall where they may

Fallen on strange times, me and you

Wherever you go, I´m going too

We´ve been here before

Far from home, by another shore

We let the days go by, under a clear blue sky

I´m so happy I could cry

Fallen on strange times, me and you

Wherever you go, I´m going too

Fallen on strange times, me and you

Wherever you go, I´m going too

Fallen on strange times

Fallen on strange times

5. Don´t ever make that right

(Music and lyrics by Rune Hauge)

You’re the good wife

who’s trying to make a good life

I know that you’re strong,

yet I feel there’s something wrong

Did he hurt you last night?

Don’t ever make that right

You’re a woman so fine,

life is tough - it’s a thin line

between right and what’s not

If you ain’t got love

then what have you got?

Did he hurt you last night?

Don’t ever make that right

Sunday’s comin’ down

and you ain’t around

People wonder where you are

Guess you don’t wanna show your scars Did he hurt you last night?

Don’t ever make that right I

hope there’ll be a day when you will say This won’t do anymore

and your boat will leave the shore

And you’ll find someone

who won’t do you no wrong

You’ll find someone

who won’t do you no wrong

6. All my life

(Music and lyrics by Rune Hauge)

All my life - since I was a boy

I wanna play music - feel the joy

Even now - when I´m grown

I want to play music - just hear that sound

When the lights go down

I got the best seat in town

Everybody goes with the flow

Brings back memories from long ago

All my life - since I was young

I wanna play music - oh so strong

Even now - when I´m grown

want to play music and get around

When the lights go down

I got the best seat in town

Everybody goes with the flow

Brings back memories from long ago

All our lives - since we were young

We play music - all night long

Even now as the days go by

We still play music - makes us fly

Now the lights are fading

The band is waiting

Time to go back on again

Do what we´ve done

since we don´t know when

7. Your island

(Music and lyrics by Rune Hauge)

When you can´t take anymore

wanna close the door

Your world comes to an end

and you need a helping hand

When there´s darkness all around

and a friend can´t be found.

Reach out and I´ll be there

Like a broken ship at sea

you´re down on your knees

the sea is rough and white

and you´re drifting through the night

At sunrise when you open your eyes Reach out and I´ll be there

I´ll be your island.

I´ll be a helping hand

A long lost friend.

When your worries hurt too much Slipping out - losing touch.

Reach out and I´ll be there

When times get rough

and living is tough

The colours fade away

can´t tell night from day

Walking in the rain.

Hide the tears - hide the pain

Reach out and I´ll be there

I´ll be your island.

I´ll be a helping hand

A long lost friend.

When your worries hurt too much Slipping out - losing touch.

Reach out and I´ll be there

8. The Last Duel

(Music and lyrics by Rune Hauge)

One August morning in the Scottish countryside, two men - one soon to die.

Two shots fired, one man went to jail.

This is the story of David Landale.

A story of a man who fought for his life

one early morn'

For six hundred years men had fought to their death as the sun rose in the early dawn

Dry your sweat, powder your gun.

Raise your head to the risin' sun.

Face to face, that's the rule. Story of the last duel.

George Morgan, a banker man he was

gave Landale a loan.

But long before payback time

he wanted every pound.

Because of this, Landale said:

"I will deal with you no more.

Tomorrow I will close my account"

and Morgan declared war.

Morgan, a former military man,

a bully, a hard case.

Stepped into the street as Landale passed by

and slapped him right in his face.

Though Landale never fought a duel in his life,

to town he did go.

In Prince's street he bought a gun,

and practised till the sun set low.

Dry your sweat, powder your gun.

Raise your head to the risin' sun.

Face to face, that's the rule. Story of the last duel.

The last night Landale told his friend John:

“It's my duty, I will not flee.

I'm a Christian, a respected man,

and a member of society”.

Landale rose at 6 am. Sunrise, night withdrawn.

One respected merchant, the other a military man, getting ready for pistols at dawn.

Dry your sweat, powder your gun.

Raise your head to the risin' sun.

Face to face, that's the rule. Story of the last duel.

Two men, one is gonna fall twelve paces  apart.

As the smoke cleared Landale stood tall

Morgan was shot in the heart.

News of the duel, spread quite fast,

all the way to London town.

A warrant was put out for Landale's arrest

for jail he was bound

As he entered the courtroom the place was packed.

All awaiting what the judge would say,

he said: "not guilty, now leave the stand

and go home as a free man".

Dry your sweat, powder your gun.

Raise your head to the risin' sun.

Face to face, that's the rule. Story of the last duel.

This is the story of David Landale

forced to pick up a gun

to clear his good name at the risin' of the sun

9. Don´t leave now

(Music and lyrics by Rune Hauge)

Don’t leave now stay a while

I’ve been longing for your sweet, sweet smile

You’ve always been so good to me

Don’t leave now I need you, can’t you see

I was wrong, you were right

Why did we have that silly fight

You shine like stars above

You’re my one and only love

Hold on to the good days

Gotta find the best way

Won’t you smile for me baby and stay

Don’t leave, one more thing before you go

Don’t rush out, take it slow

The right words so hard to find

You’re in my heart and soul sweet love of mine

Hold on to the good days

Gotta find the best way

Won’t you smile for me baby and stay

10. Sweeter than wine

(Music and lyrics by Rune Hauge)

50 miles out in nowhere

50 miles out of town

Feels like I'm drawn there

To me it's holy ground

Today I'm going to this place by the sea

Watching the mountainside

from under the pine tree

Peace in my mind

Peace in my heart

Peace in my soul

Sweeter than wine

Watching the moon rising

clearer than I've ever seen

Like an outdoor movie

On the world biggest screen

Peace in my mind

Peace in my heart

Peace in my soul

Sweeter than wine

Today we're going my love and I

To this place out in nowhere under a starry sky Watching the moon rising

clearer than I've ever seen

Like an outdoor movie

on the worlds' biggest screen

Peace in my mind

Peace in my heart

Peace in my soul

Sweeter than wine
